MARCH MADNESS SALE
The Galeon Santiago De Compostela was a Spanish galleon of the 1500’s. Galleons were powerful, slow ships of destruction, used in trade and war. These ships had a tall stern for forecastles. This allowed the crew to fire down or sweep the deck of enemy ships. And even fire down on their own deck if boarded. This ship had four masts. The first two were rigged with square sails and the third and fourth masts had lateen sails.
Disar wooden model ship kits come complete with laser cut plywood, timbers and dowels, parts and fittings, rigging cords, flags and pre-sewn sails. Highly detailed easy to follow step-by-step color building instructions in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian are included in this kit.
