High quality steel jeweler's drawplate has 82 tapered holes from 0.12mm to 2.5mm (3/32" - 3/64") diameter. Great for making thin wooden dowels, or resizing dowels and soft wire. It's easy to use! Insert the wood stock or dowel into the smallest hole it will fit (start on the un-tapered side), and pull it through with a pair of pliers. The steel edge of the hole will shave the wood, making it smaller with each pass-through. Repeat until the dowel fits through the next smallest hole. Continue until you have the size you need. Re-size soft wire the same way, but pass wire through tapered hole side of the plate. 8-1/2" long.
